Fr John Hemer will continue his series of talks exploring "The Acts of the Apostles" at St Teresa’s Church at 8.00pm on the Tuesday evenings of: 1st, 8th and 15th of May 2012.

Fr John is Lecturer in Scripture, Allen Hall Seminary, London, - a profound scholar and a stupendous speaker. Find out from these talks about the deeper meanings of these writings and what they are telling us in our own time in the run-up to Pentecost. Highly recommended. No preparation necessary. Each talk is independent, so if you cannot come to them all, come to those you can. All welcome.

Liam Dunne is considering a vocation to the priesthood here in the Diocese and will be with us for the next few months.

Traveling Nativity, figures of Mary & Joseph from the crib sets will travel round the Parishes, staying a night
at an "inn". The Cleary family are the first innkeepers for St. Teresa's and were given the figures at the
8.45am Mass on the first Sunday of Advent.

Tuesday 25th October 2011 Fr. Thomas (Anthony Dunton) , who was ordained last year, said Mass at St. Teresa's where he used to serve as an Altar Boy 20 years ago. This time his mother Monica did the readings and Hugh was the server.

Fr. Francis commissions Philip & Leo on Sunday 13th February 2011. Four other Eucharistic Ministers were commissioned the previous weekend.


Father Christmas and his helpers come to St. Teresa's 20th November


Nick Jefferies was presented with a Bene Merenti Papal Medal at St Dunstan’s Tuesday 16th November in recognition of his achievements in organising the sponsorship of priests and the support of Catholic schools in the Diocese of Keren in Eritrea.


Nick said he was happy to accept the medal of behalf of the People in Both Parishes who had worked and contributed to the effort in Eritrea over the years.


The Money goes to manage 20 Primary Schools in in Keren Diocese and support 45 priests.
Since 2003 over £100,000 has been donated.
